Gunner Walter Leonard Hollingworth (27), Royal Garrison Artillery, son of Mr and Mrs John Hollingworth, 51 Locoford Lane, Stonegravels, Chesterfield, has died of wounds in France. He enlisted twelve months ago and had been in France for about four months. On leaving school he became an assistant in Messrs Stead and Simpson’s, Burlington Street and from there he was promoted to be Manager of one of the firm’s branches in the Isle of Man.
